Ep. 40 - The importance of networking in your local community - with St Albans Premier Connection Queen Sue Wybrow

Sue Wybrow is a woman with a lot of energy! Her amazing networking skills have made her a great fit for self-employment and today she shares how she fell into Popdance and set up an incredible community in her home town of St Albans.

Sue is the business connections ‘go-to’ lady of St Albans who really knows how to get things done.

Her squiggly line into self-employment led to her first business of Popdance, which itself is now a global phenomena on multiple continents.

Off the back of that, she is the founder of The Business Community in St Albans, bringing literally thousands of small business owners together in their local area to network, to make new friends and feel a wonderful sense of togetherness.

Sue is an incredible connector and her endless energy is inspiring. She hosts an annual Woohoo awards ceremony which recognises and supports small business owners and also provides a great excuse to encourage and acknowledge achievements by peers in their different fields.

Sue epitomises everything that is good about why self-employment doesn’t have to be lonely and shines a light on how there are ways to bring together these solo business owners to help them feel like they belong.

Join me every week to hear a new gem that you can take away to increase your confidence and enjoyment for running your own business and to help you learn new business skills to live your best life.
